WILD PRIMROSE or COWSLIP

Near several species of Orchids are some Wild Primrose or also known as Cowslips.

Sun Beetle type thing?! LOL

A Orange Headed Beetle!

Not its name but will have to speak to one of my two brothers before I can name it correctly.

DUNNOCK?

In my garden and appears to be a Dunnock.

Last image it takes flight while in song!

Blue Damsel Fly

Maybe NOT rare but ... well beautiful just the same...

Lesser Stag Beetle

here right in my garden I found this little guy, or girl, several times. Or several different individuals of the same species of Beetle, the Lesser Stag Beetle, and this one was on the wall right next to my front door to my house.

Did not look too clever this one, likely due to the amount of rain that we had which was widely reported to be affecting the UK's population of Beetles. Though I state this but this might be scientists insisting on what is a fundamental basic of science and insisting it to be the case .. 'science is BEST GUESS!' Unfortunately some unscrupulous individuals will stake their lives on these guesses to get on TV regularly, or a coloumn in a Newspaper or have some other ulterior motive.

WADER WATCHING & FILMING

Bird Watching Wader Stylee!!

Redshanks, Black Tailed Godwits, Oystercatchers, Avocets & Curlews

Day out watching the Birds, yes the two legged kind ... no the feathered variety!! No I am not filming a burlesque video?!?! LMFAO.

A BEETLES VIDEO ... NOT BEATLES!! LOL

Oops have to repost this as i think large videos not allowed and this one is 248MBs?!?! LOL.

So now I will link the following Video from my YouTube account I am now piling Videos onto, had to ger around to doing this sooner or later, LMAO!

Long Horned Beetle family but which one I do not know, no doubt my two brothers do that is for sure. Insects, despite my love of Bees, Leaf Cutter Ants ad Millipedes, is not my forte but IS theirs! Well one of them anyway.

Was an interesting discovery even for an insect?!?! LOL. Good find ad totally enjoyed that and was a huge surprise too. Much bigger in the flesh than it appears on the video or in the pictures I can assure you...

... though I saw something that looked exactly like it, or a breeding pair, in Italy that were much bigger but without the metallic green and were dark brown. Damned impressive size though nevertheless!
