WHAT I DID IN JULY

Well .. I have been doing .. stuff.

Argh .. it is such a pain. I have been up to several things and waiting around for some things to occur so that I could then improve on everything that I do.

Well .. that is the plan and this has already occurred.

Now then .. I was going through some photos and videos for a post, now my next post, when I realised I had already acquired a number of things from some trips that I forgot to post.

I have this memory .. issue, you see?

Anyhoo now I have to process and reduce the pictures for my blog.

These two .. posts may well be the last of this kind before they are .. improved .. somewhat .. yeeaaah that will be an understatement.

I have also developed these really silly and quite unexpected .. psychological issues due to the number of changes about to take place and the fact that it is somewhat .. overwhelming in different ways. Largely due to memory issues I think?

Anyway here are some pictures of wildlife I have managed to get in July ...

And here are some videos ..

SOUTHERN MARSH ORCHID - (Dactylorhiza praetermissa)

Somewhat late appearing, being 27th May, and curiously bunched together and with no appearance of the Early Marsh Orchid, or Bee Orchids for that matter, here are a neatly bunched group of the British Orchid the ...

Southern Marsh Orchid ...

A selection of the surrounding flora ...

Ah now if you can see it, or them rather, in the pictures above and below those dots, or green blobs, you can see everywhere...those are the Primrose seed heads.

Those peculiar few orange and red flowered ones have a few bunches on the far right, on the line of bushes. Plus a couple not far off the centre, just a little to the right and towards the camera lens.

SOUTHERN MARSH ORCHIDS AT THE WATERSIDE

A few more of the Southern Marsh Orchids while in a rush and knackered....AGAIN!

Just so many of them and want to get as many pictures for enthusiasts to study that I can! Would not mind finding the time myself to study the pictures, lol. Still when I am there things occur to me if I am not too knackered. I should be OK fro, here on in but the flowers will finish soon, lol.

Always a race against time with me, lol. Fingers crossed that NEXT YEAR it will not be like that and I WILL get further afield than this year....MUCH FURTHER AFIELD?!?!

LMAO!

THE EARLY ORCHIDS - DACYLORHIZA INCARNATA & ORCHIS MASCULA

Right now let us see, I thought I spotted something that could have been an Early PURPLE Orchid, Orchis mascula, as well as the Early MARSH Orchids, Dactylorhiza incarnata, both of which in an Orchid site I have NOT seen them in previously.

Hmm I now cannot see from the pictures here but there were reddish purple orchids that did not have the darker wiggly markings present on the lips of the two Marsh Orchids. I then wondered if these were Early Purple and I had not seen and therefore acquired shots of these thus far!

There are a fair few more to come too on another post very soon.

I will also be acquiring a great many more shots very soon too so keep a look out as the following seven days are going to be fairly productive.

There may be some Southern Marsh Orchids amongst these too.

I will also have to check as this was not anywhere near ALL the photos in this sequence so need to come back and check that the ones I though MAY BE Early Purple Orchids are indeed been posted up?!

LOL.

ORCHID MEADOW SURPRISE CONUNDRUM

This is the fifth.....thinking... and last of the Orchid sites I located in the Lea Valley. There is supposed to be a seventh but I have been all around it and there definitely is nothing there, despite some curious work being performed.

This is the third year I have visited this site and rather surprisingly for the first time in three years I spot a far off large patch of purple?!

Madness!

Anyway it is good to finally see something despite my suspicions but what I had hoped to see here and have not to date is the Common Twayblade Orchid!

Those in the fist picture are Southern Marsh Orchids, Dactylorhiza praetermissa, at a educated guess but as they were over 100 yards from me I had to judge by the shade of purple and their size. At the other site the Early Marsh Orchids are smaller and have more red in the flowers.

I hope to see the Common Twayblade this year but I doubt it and I never venture up here without visiting all the sites, except the Not English Primrose Just Panted So We Can Get 100 Million from Public To Badly Manage the Entire Park, Kill Masses of rare Caterpillars and Put Pressure on the Crested Newt Colonies and Leave Rubbish Lying Around While e Do Something Visual For Our Money and Cut Down Far Too Many Trees Hindering the Birds Nesting While Just Bringing Something To The Parks Orchids Sites To Help Them Like Ash We Will Just Continue To DO Things That Are Highly Visual SO It Looks Like We Know What We Are Doing But Really Just Fecking It Up SITES.

LMAO no I do not go to those now, lol.

This first one is on a 40x ZOOM, yes that IS FORTY TIMES ZOOM, lol.

I use an Olympus Stylus SP-80UZ Camera. As the Nikon I bought turned out to be faulty and refurbished and Nikon seemed to know too, lol.
