THE DAY OF THE ORCHIDS: A FEW POPPIES

Well there were more of these but I was pushed for time quite literally and down to the wire it turned out.

But I will return for more pictures of non-native Poppies aplenty that were deliberately planted by the authorities, lol.

A RED TAILED GREEN BEETLE ON A POPPY

A small iredescent Green Beetle with a red tail milling around the centre of an Oriental Poppy, Papaver orientalis.

I do not know the name of this beetle but its colour along with its surroundings made for a few good picture.
