CREEPING JENNY BAY

Yes it is a lake but so light in colour and so bathed in sunlight it looked more like a bay on the coast!

Beautiful place on a lovely day and one half of an orchids meadow that contains no orchids, rather bizarrely.

However Lisemachia nummularis, or Creeping Jenny, is everywhere. Oddly another site if rife with this plant too.

Might be native to Europe but it is not cold Hardy do this far north is unlikely naturally.

Seems to love this spot which is under a canopy do puttered in winter and beaten south and south west positions in the sky the sun bathes this in light.
